Walks in other areas? Empty
PostSubject: Walks in other areas?   Walks in other areas? EmptyWed Mar 11, 2009 11:56 pm

The organised walks that have taken place so far have been a great success and, obviously, very well attended. Sadly. I've not been able to make any of them so far as I haven't had much time available and the travelling time to the walking points had made it impossible for me to go. As we have members spread all over the country, Just wondered if anyone is interested in organising walks in other areas ....maybe we could have a South/North and Midlands walk all taking place at the same time? Might also relieve the problem that the forum appears to be having if a few of us could get to meet up personally and it will be great for the dogs too! Any suggestions?

Yvonne x

We'd also like to do one WAY down South, or D'an S'aff as you Northerners put it...

Anyway if anyone is up for it, we have many areas around here that would be good and it coordination is needed we can travel too, it doesn't have to be in anyones back yard, but further South would would benefit some of us down here.

We suggested when we started doing the walks, that other walks were organised, for those too far North to come to the other ones.
I've no problem with going to the Midlands, as long as it's the M40 route as the M1 is a nightmare heading home again.
Southern one....I'd like to do West Wittering again soon.
I'm always wary now of doing walks where there is livestock....some Dogs/owners (not forum members) let us down at Virginia water Involving Horses & Riders No .
