| Posting early so everyone can book a date in their calendars - so no excuses!!! we want to make this the biggest LCGSD walk yet 1.30 meet and then a quick visit to the pub at the end  MAP here & Lorraine's directions: It is easy to find from the M25. Take the M25 anti-clockwise and exit at Junction 13. At the 1st & second roundabouts, take the turning for A30 / Camberley.
Follow the A30, going straight ahead for approx. 5 minutes. You will pass Holloway College on the left and go straight ahead at the set of traffic lights. After about 5 minutes you will approach another set of traffic lights, with a 'TOTAL' petrol station on the left. The car park is opposite.Map of the walk HERE

| I'm going to have to miss this one - bit too far for me, reckon it will take me 3 - 4 hours to get there. Steve, thankyou very much for your offer, it really is kind of you, but i think it is a bit too far for me this time - plus i haven't got room for all the spare kn-----s I shall need for travelling on the M25 I'll manage to join you all one of these times i hope Pat xx |

| i would like to know how far the walk is too and if its a long one,is there any way of any of us taking a shortcut-like,to the pub lol,or something like that?for instance i see on the map there is a carters bar which is accessable by vehicle so my OH could drive up to there and pick tiva and i up,as she wouldn't be 6 months then and i am not yet up to going far either,so a long walk is out for us but we would like to come to a walk and this one is quite reachable for us... | |

| i haven't been to this particular place before but generally we walk for around 1 1/2 - 2 hours for those that for any reason cannot do the whole walk can leave the walk early, take a short cut etc, if we know in advance we could probably tailor to walk to get to certain places (i.e. the pub) at a certain time/after a certain distance etc | |

| The pub is right next to the car park. I usually enter (from the car park) & turn left. Then I just keep walking 'til they are worn out. Chad hasn't been all the way round yet, as going in & out of the water tires him out before we get halfway round. Walking to 5 arch bridge is about a mile & a half...& we'd have to walk back again. If all the Dogs are running, swimming & playing that should be far enough. There is a wooded area & a meadow that way too & it's not as busy as going in the other direction. | |

Partway is a tarmac path & the rest is gravel....but it's not deep loose gravel. You always see loads of prams & puschairs there. | |
